Many athletes looking for full speed favor this more forward position on the bike. Some frame designers are also specifying a slacker seat tube so riders can ride the bike with an in-line post, which is lighter than a pullback post. The splined alloy DiffLock coupling is a highly accurate method of setting saddle angle, requiring only light attachment by side-mounted screws. It is especially useful for fine-tuning the seatback, which can be done without affecting the angle.
